An “Unmentionable” Product Review…

I’m interrupting my regularly scheduled A to Z blog post to share a fun product review!

Ladies, if you’re like me, you’re always looking for pretty and COMFORTABLE bras and undies, amiright?  So when I had the opportunity to test new underthings from brands I’d never tried before, I said, sure, why not?

I received a 4 pack of Catherine Malandrino Women’s T-Shirt Bras and a 6 pack of Cherokee Ladies Microfiber Bikini Underwear to try.

I’ll admit—when I was in my younger days, I shopped for bras solely based upon how cute they were, and worried not so much about how comfortable they felt. Now that I’m in my 40s, I’m more only concerned about being comfortable. I don’t spend a ton of money on bras–in fact, I buy most of them at Target and Marshalls– and they normally include the phrases “wire-free” and/or “comfort fit” on the tags.  So, I was anxious to try these bras. I’d never heard of this brand before, and wasn’t sure of how they would fit.

I was pleasantly surprised! The fit was perfect – 100% true to size. The bras feel well-made with high-quality stitching, and the polyester/spandex blend makes them appear smooth under clothing. I was worried that you’d be able to see the lace trim through clothing, but thankfully, it’s nearly invisible! The four pack comes in fun, stylish colors that match just about any outfit. For an underwire bra, they’re quite comfortable. The band and straps are adjustable and fit well.  I’ve machine washed them on delicate cycle (in a net wash bag) and line dried, and have had no issues with them shrinking or snagging, etc.

To be honest, I was also a bit wary about the undies. I’d heard of Cherokee clothes before, but am not all familiar with the brand. Also, I normally stick to 100% cotton underwear (I know, borrrring) when it comes to my gutch. Much like the bras, however, I was pleasantly surprised by both the fit and feel of these ones.  They’re made with 100% ultra-fine polyester, and I found them to be both comfortable and smooth under clothing. They fit true-to-size, are made well and wash and dry well, too.

The best part about both of these products? They’re AFFORDABLE. The four-pack of bras costs only $25.99 (again, for FOUR bras) and the underwear are less than $10 for SIX pairs!
